SIDE EFFECTS

In clinical studies, side effects were uncommon and did not affect most men. Each of these effects occurred in less than two percent of men. The president of the El Paso Area Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists said that men had varying degrees of impotence while taking Propecia. Fortunately, the problem corrects itself when the patient stops taking Propecia.
Side effects are reversible once treatment has ceased.
Fortunately, these side effects went away in all men who discontinued therapy and also disappeared in 58 percent of men who chose to continue taking Propecia.
The same proportion of decreased desire of sex was noticed among the men taking placebo. So the studies have suggested that it’s questionable as to what the actual cause is.
These Possible side effects also include:

• Decrease in libido (desire for sex).
• Difficulty achieving an erection.
• Decrease amount of semen.
